No. Forest Nails is a private studio and operates by appointment only.
A nail build-up is a dry manicure (Russian manicure) combined with hard gel strengthening for your natural nails. It does not add length — it reinforces and shapes your existing natural nails.
A build-up can last 4–5 weeks, but we recommend a refill approximately every 3 weeks to maintain the shape and keep the manicure looking fresh as your natural nails grow.
A Smart Pedicure is a dry pedicure technique that uses specialized discs to safely and effectively remove calluses and dry skin without the use of blades, leaving your feet smooth and well cared for.
A nail build-up strengthens and shapes your natural nails without adding length.
Nail extensions add length using sculpting forms or dual forms, which are then reinforced with builder gel.
A regular manicure typically uses water to soften the skin. A dry manicure is performed without soaking and uses professional tools to carefully and precisely prepare the cuticle area.
This technique allows the polish or gel color to be applied closer to the cuticle, helping maintain a clean look as your nails grow.
Yes, when performed by a trained professional using the proper technique and equipment. At Forest Nails, we use professional tools and follow proper sanitation and sterilization procedures. All reusable tools are fully sterilized before each appointment.
No. The course is designed for beginners as well as nail artists who want to strengthen their existing technical foundation.
No. Forest Nails does not issue state licenses or official licensing documents. The From Zero to Pro course provides professional education, hands-on training and practical instruction in dry manicure and hard gel techniques. It does not provide or replace a Virginia state nail technician license.
